1. Who we are
Ohquire Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy in respect of our own customers and website visitors. Where we process personal data on behalf of our customers as part of providing the Service, we act as a data processor and our customer is the controller. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, contact us at privacy@ohquire.com.
2. The data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
2.1 Account and contact data
- Name, email address, and password or authentication credentials.
- Company or organisation name and role.
- Billing details and transaction history.
- Support requests and other communications with us.
2.2 Usage and device data
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the dates and times of access.
- Device and connection information, and cookies or similar technologies (see Cookies).
2.3 Data processed on behalf of our customers
To deliver the Service, we process data relating to the prospects and contacts our customers choose to engage. This may include publicly available social media profile information (such as usernames, display names, public bios, and public posts), messages exchanged through connected accounts, and AI-generated outreach content. We process this data on our customers’ instructions and for the purpose of providing the Service to them.
3. How we use your data
We use personal data to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Create and manage accounts and authenticate users.
- Process payments and administer billing.
- Generate, personalise, and deliver outreach messages on behalf of our customers using AI models.
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- Monitor, secure, and protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Send service-related communications and, where permitted, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the UK GDPR and EU GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you or your organisation have requested.
- Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve our business, where not overridden by your rights.
- Consent — for certain cookies and marketing, which you may withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws.
5. How we share data
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only as described below:
- Service providers — cloud hosting, infrastructure, analytics, payment processing, and AI model providers who process data on our behalf under written agreements.
- Third-party platforms — where you connect a social media or messaging account, we exchange data with that platform to deliver the Service, subject to that platform’s terms.
- Legal and safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. AI processing
The Service uses third-party large language models (such as those provided by Anthropic and OpenAI) to qualify prospects and generate personalised messages. Content sent to these providers is processed to produce the requested output. We use providers that contractually commit not to use customer data submitted via their APIs to train their models, and we apply content moderation before processing where appropriate.
7. International transfers
We may transfer personal data to countries outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where we do, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Data processed on behalf of a customer is retained according to that customer’s instructions and deleted or returned on termination of their account, subject to legal retention requirements.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, tenant-level data isolation, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@ohquire.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). Where we process data on behalf of a customer, please direct your request to that customer and we will assist them in responding.
11. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
12. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
14. Contact us
If you have questions, concerns, or requests regarding this policy or your personal data, contact us at privacy@ohquire.com.
